BullionSupermarket will trial limited run of 1 ounce silver bars
BullionSupermarket.com will trial its own brand of Silver bars in May 2010. The Silver Bullion bars will be struck in 999.0 Fine Silver by a leading UK mint and initially be available in a 1 troy ounce weight with dimensions of 50mm x 29mm. Further larger bars may be made available depending on the result of the trial.
BullionSupermarket Silver bars will be available through selected sellers in May and June 2010.
Meanwhile silver demand on BullionSupermarket.com spiked again on Sunday, as again, price comparisons for the white metal outstripped price comparisons for Gold. Silver represented 47.8% of all price comparisons on Sunday, with Gold representing 46.9% and Platinum comparisons remaining subdued on just 5.3%.
BullionSupermarket.com now publishes price comparisons data within the registered users section of the site to allow users to see how daily price comparison statistics are made up between Gold, Silver and Platinum. This function is currently being trialed and will become available to all users in the near future.
